Monday 10/7/2004: Imrilron (WIL) and Gàlas (MM) win P.O.W. award
Isilborn Imrilron from Wilderland wins his 5th Player of the Week award for putting up the best numbers this week in the Shire Conference. He hit .600 with 12 RBI and slugged 1.100 in 20 at bats. Isilborn managed to drive in at least one run in every game he played this week. While compiling an on base percentage of .411, Isilborn hit .316 and slugged .633. He has collected 159 runs batted in this year. He's 1st in the Shire Conference in RBIs and 2nd in homeruns! The Player of the Week award in the Mordor Conference goes to Misty Mountain's Pimra Gàlas this time, as the pitcher displayed the best pitching perfomance in his league. Gàlas was overpowering all week long, going 2-0 with an ERA of 0.50. Along the way he struck out 6 in 18 innings. He hurled a shutout as well. This season Gàlas compiled an ERA of 2.48, going 17-5 in 30 starts. He fanned 187 while giving up 175 hits in 221 innings. Pimra has pitched 2 shutouts and 9 complete games. He's 1st in the Mordor Conference in ERA and 1st in wins!
 
Thursday 10/3/2004: Bree's Anylith severely injured
BREE - When it rains, it pours. Bree's right-hander Dejahth Anylith will not pitch for at least 5 weeks, handing the team a huge setback. He suffered a serious injury in a game against Mirkwood where he left the field in the 4th inning. Anylith was rushed to an hospital near the ballpark, where doctors took x-rays. Those revealed the serious injury, Strained Elbow Ligament. In 28 starts this year Dejahth struck out 166 batters in 194.1 innings of work. His ERA is 4.03, his record 10-6. Dejahth has pitched one shutout and 4 complete games.
 
Tuesday 10/1/2004: Celebrin and Footstomper receive Pitcher of the Month award
Winner of this months Shire Conference Pitcher of the Month award is Old Forest's Boriam Celebrin. He started 7 games in September, going 6-1 and compiling an ERA of 2.68 in 53.2 innings. Boriam fanned 75 hitters. This season Celebrin compiled an ERA of 4.21, going 17-10 in 31 starts. He fanned 292 while giving up 189 hits in 205 innings. He's 7th in the Shire Conference in wins! The best month of September in the Mordor Conference certainly had Isengard's right-hander Maggek Footstomper, earning him the Pitcher of the Month award. He went 3-1 in September and finished the month with an ERA of 0.84. He struck out 24 in 32.1 innings. This season Footstomper compiled an ERA of 2.50, going 8-8 in 27 starts. He fanned 147 while giving up 138 hits in 154.2 innings.
 
Tuesday 10/1/2004: Batter of the Month award winners announced
The Batter of the Month award in the Shire Conference goes to Bree's Arwildoc Belebrindil this time, as the shortstop displayed the best offensive perfomance in his league. Arwildoc went 37 for 102 (.363), while hitting 10 HR and collecting 29 RBI. While compiling an on base percentage of .322, Arwildoc hit .268 and slugged .525. He has collected 114 runs batted in this year. Dagorlad's catcher Dolir Axetearer had some reason to celebrate as well, as the league named him the Mordor Conference Batter of the Month. Dolir went 39 for 96 (.406), while hitting 7 HR and collecting 21 RBI. This year Axetearer drove in 62 and scored 49 runs while batting .273 with 18 homeruns.
 
Monday 9/30/2004: Starbasher (CAR) and Ghoulslobberer (DUN) win P.O.W. award
Carrock's second baseman Vridash Starbasher had some reason to celebrate, as the league named him the Shire Conference Player of the Week. He had an on base percentage of .606 and hit .536, while driving in 7 runs. The Player of the Week award in the Mordor Conference goes to Dunharrow's Mugor Ghoulslobberer this time, as the shortstop displayed the best offensive perfomance in his league. In 26 at bats he hit .500 with 3 HR and 7 RBI. His season numbers are: .340 AVG, 182 hits, 24 doubles, 3 triples and 26 bombs, along with 77 RBI and 89 runs scored. He's 2nd in the Mordor Conference in batting!
 
Friday 9/27/2004: Sarawyn Radaden ropes four hits, completes cycle
NUMENOR - Sarawyn Radaden hits 'em where they ain't. Grey Havens certainly agrees as Numenor's leftfielder unloaded four hits and hitting for the cycle. A triple off Phanth Fiwyn in the 4th inning, accounted for his 1st hit. A 376 foot drive to right field marked his 2nd hit, a solo homerun off Phanth Fiwyn in the 6th inning. It tied the ballgame at 4. A single in the 7th off Keran Grudgesplitter accounted for his 3rd hit. A pitch from Rumak Knifehammer in the 8th inning left his bat for a double. That drive completed the cycle, causing a smile on his face! Sarawyn scored 3 runs, and he collected one RBI as well! He now has a total of 105 hits this season, accounting for a .236 batting average. 5 players in league history have so far hit for the cycle, including Sarawyn. On 4/24/2004, Arigol Anorà was the last player to hit for the cycle.
 
Thursday 9/26/2004: Dead Marshes' Sordor Glóthien laces five hits
MORDOR - Dead Marshes' shortstop Sordor Glóthien accomplished a difficult feat in a 8-5 win over Mordor, drilling five hits to improve his career batting average to .296! In the 5th inning he unloaded a solo homerun off Thurtai Nyldor. Number 4 in the 7th inning accounted for a RBI double. In the 8th inning he belted a RBI double off Vruuhai Throatslobber. He had singles in the 1st inning and in the 3rd . Sordor did drive in 3 while scoring 2 runs on his own. He's having a very good season so far, batting .309. Dead Marshes scored 8 runs on 18 hits.
 
Wednesday 9/25/2004: Mauhur *The Looter out for 5-6 weeks
DEAD MARSHES - Dead Marshes' season took a blow when Mauhur *The Looter suffered a serious injury in the game against Numenor. He hurt his arm throwing a strike to first base. *The Looter will probaby miss 5-6 weeks. After being taken to a local hospital, *The Looter was examined by specialists. The diagnosis revealed the sad truth, a Strained Bicep Muscle. Mauhur has gone 60 for 172 (.349) this season, hitting 11 taters and driving in 34 runs. He has scored 42 runs on his own.
 
Monday 9/23/2004: Misty Mountain's Axecutter wins Player of the Week award
The Shire Conference Player of the Week award goes to Thuvvia Sowyn, Bywater's starting third baseman. Thuvvia was on fire, hitting .545 with 2 HR and 7 RBI. Denar Axecutter wins his 1st Player of the Week award. Mordor Conference pitchers couldn't figure out how to retire this guy all week long. Denar went 10 for 20 (.500), while hitting 2 HR and collecting 6 RBI. Denar is hitting .290 this year, with 152 hits in 525 at bats. He has driven in 84 runs, slugging .459.
 
Sunday 9/22/2004: Prilak Hammershaker pitches 2-hit shutout against Isengard
NUMENOR - Prilak Hammershaker had some fun again. Isengard hitters did not. Numenor's right-hander gave up just 2 hits in his 2nd shutout of the season. He now has 2 career shutouts in 43 games started. The bid for a no-hitter was broken up when Boran Armormasher singled with one out in the 8th inning. 'Giving my team a chance to win is the most important thing for me. I was able to do it today.' Hammershaker (13-7) fanned 6 and walked none, throwing 93 pitches. The hitting star for Numenor was second baseman Meroman Legeolbo, he got 2 hits in 3 AB. Numenor scored 1 run on 4 hits.
 
Tuesday 9/17/2004: Valinor has no chance in a 1-hitter by Legeron Iseomer
VALINOR - Legeron Iseomer had some fun again. Valinor hitters did not. Rohan's left-hander gave up just one hit in his 3rd shutout of the season. He now has 3 career shutouts in 67 games started. Iseomer (14-8) struck out 8 and issued 1 BB, throwing 61 of 99 pitches for strikes. 'Things like that happen. You take the mound and everything works. My velocity was pretty good today and I guess it showed.' Rafur Rockback helped Iseomer at the plate, he stroked 1 hit in 2 AB, homering once, and driving in 3 runs. Rohan improved its record to 87-58, scoring 4 runs on 8 hits.
 
Monday 9/16/2004: Nilad and Galithrandir win Player of the Week award
The Player of the Week award in the Shire Conference goes to Lake Town's Thuralia Nilad this time, as the catcher displayed the best offensive perfomance in his league. Nilad helped his team with an average of .636 and one RBI in 22 at bats. The Player of the Week award in the Mordor Conference goes to Grey Havens' Sarkla Galithrandir this time, as the rightfielder displayed the best offensive perfomance in his league. In 23 at bats he hit .478 with 1 HR and 8 RBI.
 
Monday 9/9/2004: Orcback (BUC) and Axetearer (DAG) win P.O.W. award
The Player of the Week award in the Shire Conference goes to Bucklebury's Lugnar Orcback this time, as the leftfielder displayed the best offensive perfomance in his league. Lugnar pounded opposing pitchers, hitting .440 with 2 HR and 7 RBI while slugging .840. Dagorlad's catcher Dolir Axetearer had some reason to celebrate as well, as the league named him the Mordor Conference Player of the Week. He hit .417 with 8 RBI and slugged 1.042 in 24 at bats. He has hit 15 homeruns while batting .254 this season. His 111 hits and 31 walks add up to a .309 on-base percentage.
 
Friday 9/6/2004: Elrilmer Elriawyn (MM) will miss 4-5 weeks
MISTY MOUNTAIN - When it rains, it pours. Misty Mountain's ace Elrilmer Elriawyn will not pitch for at least 4-5 weeks, handing the team a huge setback. He suffered a serious injury in a game against Valinor where he left the field in the 1st inning. After x-rays were taken the diagnosis did not surprise many: Ruptured Elbow Ligament. Surgery will be performed next week. In 33 starts this year Elrilmer struck out 205 batters in 220 innings of work. His ERA is 2.82, his record 12-12. He has 3 complete games and one shutout.
 
Thursday 9/5/2004: Geadriel Gamialf NO-HITS Moria
MIRKWOOD - Geadriel Gamialf had his best stuff going, and Moria hitters were chanceless. Mirkwood's right-hander fired a NO-NO, his 2nd shutout of the season. 'I was able to keep´em off balance. That certainly helped. What a day!' Gamialf (13-10) struck out 3 and walked 5, throwing 68 of 130 pitches for strikes. The hitting star for Mirkwood was catcher Ronaldo Nuñez, he finished 1 for 2. Mirkwood scored 3 runs on 8 hits.
 
Monday 9/2/2004: Imrilron and Rockback win Player of the Week award
Isilborn Imrilron wins his 4th Player of the Week award. Shire Conference pitchers couldn't figure out how to retire this guy all week long. Isilborn pounded opposing pitchers, hitting .550 with 2 HR and 9 RBI while slugging .950. He got at least one hit each game this week and is on a 8 game hitting streak right now. Rafur Rockback wins his 2nd Player of the Week award. Mordor Conference pitchers couldn't figure out how to retire this guy all week long. Rafur was on fire, hitting .529 with 1 HR and 9 RBI.
 
Sunday 9/1/2004: Phaija Eowunduil (ISE) will miss 6-7 weeks
ISENGARD - Isengard is without its right-hander Phaija Eowunduil for at least 6-7 weeks. He injured himself while throwing a pitch to Vrsuurbag Swordtorturer in a game against Dunharrow. His face showed signs of pain immediately after the ball left his hand. After x-rays were taken the diagnosis did not surprise many: Ruptured Bicep Tendon. Surgery will be performed next week. Phaija has a record of 14-6 this season, with an ERA of 3.67. In 201.1 Innings he was able to strike out 149 batters. Phaija has pitched 3 shutouts and 3 complete games. He's 1st in the Mordor Conference in wins!
 
Sunday 9/1/2004: Dead Marshes' Oresplitter named Pitcher of the Month
It's the 1st time that the Shire Conference Pitcher of the Month award goes to Moria's pitcher Farin Beardsnapper. He started 6 games in August, going 4-0 and compiling an ERA of 1.31 in 48 innings. Farin fanned 41 hitters. In 32 starts this year Farin struck out 185 batters in 215 innings of work. His ERA is 3.56, his record 15-13. Farin has pitched one shutout and 4 complete games. He's 7th in the Shire Conference in ERA and 6th in wins! It's the 1st time that the Mordor Conference Pitcher of the Month award goes to Dead Marshes' pitcher Nasil Oresplitter. He had an ERA of just 0.79 in 34 innings of work in which he struck out 24 hitters. His record in August is 3-0. In 23 starts this year Nasil struck out 104 batters in 130 innings of work. His ERA is 3.25, his record 9-7.

The Batter of the Month award in the Shire Conference goes to Bucklebury's Kogar Facedragger this time, as the rightfielder displayed the best offensive perfomance in his league. Kogar pounded opposing pitchers, hitting .365 with 11 and 31 RBI while slugging .802. Kogar has gone 170 for 470 (.362) this season, hitting 49 taters and driving in 122 runs. He has scored 126 runs on his own. He's 2nd in the Shire Conference in batting, 1st in homeruns and 2nd in RBI! The Mordor Conference Batter of the Month award goes to Gamilas Eowil-Galad, Dagorlad's starting leftfielder. He had an on base percentage of .402 and hit .333, while driving in 24 runs. He has hit 48 taters while batting .279 this season. His 137 hits and 36 walks add up to a .328 on-base percentage. He's 1st in the Mordor Conference in RBIs and 1st in homeruns!
 
Monday 8/26/2004: Thutina Sebrirà blanks Old Forest with a 2-hitter
OLD FOREST - Moria's right-hander Thutina Sebrirà will never forget this day. The 31-year old recorded his first career shutout, a 2-hitter, against Old Forest on Monday. Sebrirà (6-7) struck out 5 and walked 3, throwing 59 of 98 pitches for strikes. 'Giving my team a chance to win is the most important thing for me. I was able to do it today.' Glognar Foebinder provided Moria with the offense Sebrirà needed as he stroked 3 hits in 4 AB, with 3 RBI. The final score of the game was 10-0.
 
Monday 8/26/2004: Dunharrow's Ghoulslobberer wins Player of the Week award
The Shire Conference Player of the Week award goes to Grimli Goramir, He had an on base percentage of .636 and hit .529, while driving in 7 runs. The Player of the Week award in the Mordor Conference goes to Dunharrow's Mugor Ghoulslobberer this time, as the shortstop displayed the best offensive perfomance in his league. He had an on base percentage of .667 and hit .529, while driving in 6 runs. He now has homered in 3 consecutive games as well!
 
Monday 8/19/2004: Ulor Témir quiets Grey Havens bats with shutout
GREY HAVENS - Good things can happen when you throw strikes. And Ulor Témir did so today, in a 1-hit shutout against Grey Havens. 'They took some ugly cuts at my breaking stuff, so I kept throwing it. Fortunately they were not able to adjust in time.' Témir (8-6) fanned 6 and walked 4, throwing 106 pitches. Dol Guldur's centerfielder Bill Rollins stroked 4 hits in 5 AB. That was enough to support the brilliant performance of Témir. The final score of the game was 1-0.
 
Monday 8/19/2004: Mooncutter and Lómebrildur win Player of the Week award
The Shire Conference Player of the Week award goes to Sruulak Mooncutter, Silvan's starting third baseman. Sruulak was on fire, hitting .391 with 5 HR and 8 RBI. Sruulak has gone 92 for 401 (.229) this season, hitting 24 bombs and driving in 65 runs. He has scored 53 runs on his own. It's the 2nd time that the Mordor Conference Player of the Week award goes to Mordor's centerfielder Thaira Lómebrildur. He hit .440 with 8 RBI and slugged 1.200 in 25 at bats.
 
Monday 8/12/2004: Mordor's Legindil wins Player of the Week award
Throatwarbler *Mangrove from Bree wins his 2nd Player of the Week award for putting up the best numbers this week in the Shire Conference. *Mangrove helped his team with an average of .560 and 7 RBI in 25 at bats. He hit in every game this week and extended his hitting streak to 8 games. *Mangrove has hit 14 taters this year while batting .297. He adds 24 doubles, along with 71 runs scored. The Mordor Conference Player of the Week award goes to Tavoja Legindil, Mordor's starting first baseman. Legindil helped his team with an average of .444 and 7 RBI in 27 at bats.
 
Friday 8/9/2004: Dugan Beardbinder quiets Cirith Ungol bats with shutout
CIRITH UNGOL - All you need to win is a dominating pitching performance. And Rivendell's Dugan Beardbinder did so today, in a 2-hit shutout against Cirith Ungol. 'I didn't feel that I had good stuff while warming up. But it got better the more I threw the ball. I guess I was lucky.' Beardbinder (3-3) fanned 7 and walked 1, throwing 100 pitches. Rivendell's centerfielder Gamahir Elvorfindel stroked 2 hits in 4 AB, and collecting 2 RBI. That was enough to support the brilliant performance of Beardbinder. The final score of the game was 4-0.
 
Thursday 8/8/2004: Numenor's Trollthrottler severely injured
NUMENOR - Numenor's right-hander Wugush Trollthrottler suffered a severe injury on Thursday and will be out for at least 4 weeks. In the 5th of the game against Dagorlad he experienced pain in his throwing arm and had to leave the game. Trollthrottler was rushed to an hospital near the ballpark, where doctors took x-rays. Those revealed the serious injury, Inflamed Bicep Tendon. In 23 starts this year Wugush struck out 107 batters in 142.2 innings of work. His ERA is 3.97, his record 8-6.
 
Monday 8/5/2004: Axetorturer and *Elensar win Player of the Week award
Burt Axetorturer wins his 1st Player of the Week award. Shire Conference pitchers couldn't figure out how to retire this guy all week long. Burt was on fire, hitting .393 with 3 HR and 8 RBI. Mordor's pitcher Maeglin *Elensar had some reason to celebrate as well, as the league named him the Mordor Conference Player of the Week. Maeglin went 2-0 with an ERA of 0.00, while fanning 16 in 17.2 innings of work. He hurled a shutout as well.
 
Thursday 8/1/2004: Hidush Elfbelly dominates Bywater, gives up just 2 hits
BYWATER - All you need to win is a dominating pitching performance. And Mirkwood's Hidush Elfbelly did so today, in a 2-hit shutout against Bywater. 'My catcher called a very good game. I have to give credit to him.' Elfbelly (8-4) struck out 2 and walked 1, throwing 54 of 93 pitches for strikes. The hitting star for Mirkwood was leftfielder Gandolf Gameahir, he finished with 1 hit in 4 AB, with 2 RBI. The final score of the game was 4-0.
 
Thursday 8/1/2004: Mordor's Hobbitgobbler named Pitcher of the Month
The best month of July in the Shire Conference certainly had Mirkwood's left-hander Hidush Elfbelly, earning him the Pitcher of the Month award. He went 4-0 in July and finished the month with an ERA of 1.07. He struck out 21 in 42 innings. Hidush pitched a shutout as well. In 15 starts this year Hidush struck out 45 batters in 102 innings of work. His ERA is 4.24, his record 7-4. Hidush has pitched one shutout and 4 complete games. Winner of this months Mordor Conference Pitcher of the Month award is Mordor's Pudush Hobbitgobbler. His ERA of just 1.85 helped him to a 4-2 record in July. He worked 48.2 innings, striking out 28 hitters while walking 4. Pudush pitched a shutout as well. This season Hobbitgobbler compiled an ERA of 3.08, going 10-5 in 25 starts. He fanned 97 while giving up 151 hits in 154.2 innings. He has one complete game and one shutout. He's 4th in the Mordor Conference in wins!
 
Thursday 8/1/2004: Red hot Facedragger and Dwarfcrawler win Batter of the Month award
It's the 4th time that the Shire Conference Batter of the Month award goes to Bucklebury's rightfielder Kogar Facedragger. Kogar pounded opposing pitchers, hitting .353 with 12 and 30 RBI while slugging .824. Facedragger has hit 38 longballs this year while batting .361. He adds 12 doubles, along with 103 runs scored. He's 2nd in the Shire Conference in batting, 1st in homeruns and 2nd in RBI! The Mordor Conference's best player of the month was Grey Havens' Grukak Dwarfcrawler, who wins the award for the 1st time in his career. Grukak went 25 for 69 (.362), while hitting 8 HR and collecting 32 RBI. Dwarfcrawler has hit for a .299 average this season. He has 49 extra base hits along with 197 total bases, resulting in a .595 slugging percentage. He's 5th in the Mordor Conference in RBIs and 7th in homeruns!

Kogar Facedragger wins his 3rd Player of the Week award. Shire Conference pitchers couldn't figure out how to retire this guy all week long. He hit .450 with 8 RBI and slugged .950 in 20 at bats. Facedragger has hit 37 homeruns this year while batting .358. He adds 12 doubles, along with 101 runs scored. He's 3rd in the Shire Conference in batting, 1st in homeruns and 2nd in RBI! The Player of the Week award in the Mordor Conference goes to Numenor's Theo *Nering this time, as the shortstop displayed the best offensive perfomance in his league. Theo went 10 for 21 (.476), while hitting 3 HR and collecting 8 RBI.
 
Monday 7/22/2004: Silvan's Belaraviel wins Player of the Week award
Arweogast Belaraviel wins his 2nd Player of the Week award. Shire Conference pitchers couldn't figure out how to retire this guy all week long. Arweogast went 10 for 21 (.476), while hitting 4 HR and collecting 10 RBI. Mimsh Ghoulgobbler from Mordor wins his 1st Player of the Week award for putting up the best numbers this week in the Mordor Conference. He had an on base percentage of .500 and hit .476, while driving in 8 runs.
 
Sunday 7/21/2004: Dagorlad's Phantina Föriand has great day, hits three longballs
VALINOR - Phantina Föriand was in a groove, and the results spoke for themselves. He powered Dagorlad to a 15-5 win over Valinor by homering three times. His 1st blast, a solo homerun off Celomer Eäril-Gamir in the 1st inning, landed an estimated 349 feet from home plate. In the 3rd inning he unloaded a two-run homerun off Celomer Eäril-Gamir. His 3rd shot, off Santiago Correa in the 5th inning, was a solo homerun and cleared the fence in right field. Overall he finished 3 for 6, scoring three runs and collecting 4 RBI. On 6/14/2004, Arweogast Belaraviel was the last player to hit 3 dingers in a single game.
 
Monday 7/15/2004: Goramir wins Player of the Week award
second baseman Grimli Goramir had some reason to celebrate, as the league named him the Shire Conference Player of the Week. In 22 at bats he hit .409 with 7 HR and 13 RBI. He now has homered in 5 consecutive games as well! Grimli has gone 98 for 326 (.301) this season, hitting 27 bombs and driving in 64 runs. He has scored 63 runs on his own. He's 9th in the Shire Conference in RBIs and 4th in homeruns! Dunharrow's centerfielder Seathor Radithor had some reason to celebrate as well, as the league named him the Mordor Conference Player of the Week. He had an on base percentage of .682 and hit .588, while driving in 4 runs. He hit in every game this week and extended his hitting streak to 13 games. Seathor has gone 100 for 328 (.305) this season, hitting 20 longballs and driving in 47 runs. He has scored 59 runs on his own.
 
Thursday 7/11/2004: Boreathor Boraulf dominates Old Forest, gives up just one hit
RIVENDELL - Boreathor Boraulf had some fun again. Old Forest hitters did not. Rivendell's left-hander gave up just one hit in his 3rd shutout of the season. He now has 6 career shutouts in 57 games started. 'Today I just felt fine. I had a good feeling while warming up.' Boraulf (11-9) struck out 9 and issued 3 BB, throwing 64 of 104 pitches for strikes. The hitting star for Rivendell was catcher Diaus Eäradrieldur, he finished 2 for 4. Rivendell improved its record to 51-35, scoring 3 runs on 5 hits.
 
Monday 7/8/2004: Boraulf (RIV) and Fiwyn (GH) win P.O.W. award
It's the 1st time that the Shire Conference Player of the Week award goes to Rivendell's pitcher Boreathor Boraulf. Boreathor went 2-0 with an ERA of 2.25, while fanning 5 in 16 innings of work. The Mordor Conference Player of the Week award goes to Phanth Fiwyn, one of Grey Havens' best starting pitchers. He was in a zone all week, compiling an ERA of 1.69 while going 2-0. Opposing players hit .230 against Phanth this season. While posting an ERA of 4.17 he went 6-7 in 20 starts, fanning 109 and walking 53 hitters.
 
Monday 7/1/2004: Isengard's Guviel severely injured
ISENGARD - Rohan's Somina Glömir drilled Isengard's second baseman Sorthor Guviel in the 2nd inning. He was slow getting up and had to leave the game. Sorthor Guviel will miss at least 5 weeks. CIRITH UNGOL - Cirith Ungol is without its ace Ardaah Anàldor for at least 6 weeks. He injured himself while throwing a pitch to Kimvia Elrilas in a game against Old Forest. His face showed signs of pain immediately after the ball left his hand. After x-rays were taken the diagnosis did not surprise many: Spasms Back. Surgery will be performed next week. His ERA of 3.81 helped him to a 9-5 record this year. He struck out 58 and walked 11 in 106.1 innings. He's 6th in the Shire Conference in wins!
 
Monday 7/1/2004: Bree's Swordeater wins Player of the Week award
It's the 1st time that the Shire Conference Player of the Week award goes to Bree's third baseman Vrsorbag Swordeater. Vrsorbag was on fire, hitting .688 with 3 HR and 8 RBI. The Shire Conference Player of the Week award goes to Higor Elfdrinker, Bree's starting leftfielder. Higor went 10 for 21 (.476), while hitting 3 HR and collecting 5 RBI. While compiling an on base percentage of .464, Higor hit .359 and slugged .568. He has collected 57 runs batted in this year. He's 1st in the Shire Conference in batting!
 
Monday 7/1/2004: Legithraviel (RIV) and Eärylas (DUN) win monthly pitcher award
Tavus Legithraviel pitched like a legend in June, and the Shire Conference named him Pitcher of the Month for his extraordinary performance. He had an ERA of just 1.35 in 46.2 innings of work in which he struck out 48 hitters. His record in June is 6-0. Tavus also fired a shutout. His ERA of 2.81 helped him to a 12-3 record this year. He struck out 139 and walked 22 in 134.2 innings. He has 4 complete games and 2 shutouts. He's 1st in the Shire Conference in ERA and 1st in wins! Dunharrow's Deniamer Eärylas had a terrific June, and it earned him the Mordor Conference Pitcher of the month award. He struck out 16 hitters in his 3 starts, putting together a record of 2-0 while pitching 16 innings. His ERA in June was 1.13. Deniamer also fired a shutout. His ERA of 2.55 helped him to a 4-3 record this year. He struck out 47 and walked 15 in 77.2 innings. He has 2 complete games and one shutout.
 
Monday 7/1/2004: Silvan's Belaraviel earns Batter of the Month award
The Batter of the Month award in the Shire Conference goes to Silvan's Arweogast Belaraviel this time, as the first baseman displayed the best offensive perfomance in his league. Arweogast went 33 for 98 (.337), while hitting 12 HR and collecting 21 RBI. This year Belaraviel drove in 63 and scored 57 runs while batting .358 with 29 longballs. He's 4th in the Shire Conference in batting, 1st in homeruns and 5th in RBI! The Mordor Conference's best player of the month was Grey Havens' Gollilman Garon, who wins the award for the 1st time in his career. He hit .385 with 23 RBI and slugged .729 in 96 at bats. While compiling an on base percentage of .364, Gollilman hit .305 and slugged .503. He has collected 38 runs batted in this year.
 
Friday 6/28/2004: Dol Guldur's Témir out for 5 weeks
DOL GULDUR - When it rains, it pours. Dol Guldur's southpaw Ulor Témir will not pitch for at least 5 weeks, handing the team a huge setback. He suffered a serious injury in a game against Gondor where he left the field in the 6th inning. Bone Chips Shoulder was the diagnosis after x-rays were taken in a nearby hospital. The message shocked teammates and team officials. In 18 starts this year Ulor struck out 106 batters in 113.1 innings of work. His ERA is 3.89, his record 6-5.
 
Tuesday 6/25/2004: Old Forest's Celebrin severely injured
OLD FOREST - Old Forest's pitcher Boriam Celebrin was part of a scary incident that saw the right-hander being hit by a line drive in the 9th inning of the game between Old Forest and Lake Town. Team trainers immediately rushed onto the field after the frightening scene. Celebrin will miss about 5 weeks. Doctors examined him after the game and diagnosed a Broken Cheekbone which will require surgery. In 18 starts this year Boriam struck out 177 batters in 119.2 innings of work. His ERA is 4.51, his record 7-8.
 
Monday 6/24/2004: Gollailob (WIL) and Legeolbo (NUM) win P.O.W. award
The Shire Conference's best player of the week was Wilderland's Gorema Gollailob, who wins the award for the 2nd time in his career. Gorema went 8 for 17 (.471), while hitting 5 HR and collecting 10 RBI. Meroman Legeolbo from Numenor wins his 1st Player of the Week award for putting up the best numbers this week in the Mordor Conference. Meroman went 11 for 17 (.647), while hitting 0 HR and collecting 5 RBI. He has hit 5 longballs while batting .292 this season. His 75 hits and 31 walks add up to a .388 on-base percentage.
 
Monday 6/17/2004: Bucklebury's Elvywyn wins Player of the Week award
The Shire Conference Player of the Week award goes to Myrtai Elvywyn, Bucklebury's starting first baseman. Elvywyn helped his team with an average of .344 and 18 RBI in 32 at bats. Elvywyn has hit 26 longballs this year while batting .305. He adds 11 doubles, along with 55 runs scored. He's 1st in the Shire Conference in RBIs and 1st in homeruns! The Mordor Conference Player of the Week award goes to Gollilman Garon, Grey Havens' starting first baseman. Gollilman pounded opposing pitchers, hitting .500 with 4 HR and 11 RBI while slugging 1.036.
 
Sunday 6/16/2004: Borun Celül (LT) will miss full season
LAKE TOWN - Lake Town's ace Borun Celül experienced probably the worst case scenario for a pitcher, a season ending injury. After pitching in the 6th inning of the game against Bywater, Celül complained about serious pain in his throwing arm. He had to leave the game. After being examined by several specialists the diagnosis is clear: Torn Tricep Muscle. His ERA of 4.91 helped him to a 5-6 record this year. He struck out 82 and walked 43 in 95.1 innings. Borun has pitched one shutout and 2 complete games.
 
Saturday 6/15/2004: Farin Beardsnapper fires 2-hitter against Carrock
MORIA - It was a great day for Moria's right-hander Farin Beardsnapper. The 31-year old recorded his first career shutout, a 2-hitter, against Carrock on Saturday. Beardsnapper (7-8) was overpowering, fanning 10 while walking 3, throwing 115 pitches. 'Hey, that's my job! Everytime I take the mound I give the best I can. And my best stuff was too much for them today.' Moria's first baseman Glognar Foebinder stroked 3 hits in 4 AB. That was enough to support the brilliant performance of Beardsnapper. Moria scored 5 runs on 11 hits.
 
Friday 6/14/2004: Arweogast Belaraviel punishes Moria with three dingers
MORIA - Silvan's first baseman Arweogast Belaraviel showed the world why he is one of the most amazing sluggers in a 10-1 win over Moria. He almost knockes the cover off the ball, resulting in three homeruns. In the 1st inning he unloaded a solo homerun off Areadriel Anararà. A pitch from Silzava Gliondir in the 7th inning left his bat for a two-run homerun, landing 380 feet from home plate in left field. Number 3 in the 9th inning, a shot estimated at 362 feet, cleared the wall in right field. Overall he got 4 hits in 6 AB, with FOUR runs scored with 5 RBI. Perian Moraden was the last player to hit 3 homeruns in a game, doing it 6/12/2004. Silvan scored 10 runs on 13 hits.
 
Wednesday 6/12/2004: Perian Moraden blisters three bombs
VALINOR - Perian Moraden powered Grey Havens to a 17-1 win over Valinor. He did it in style by homering three times. His 1st shot, a GRAND SLAM off Smealas Sheoma in the 1st inning, cleared the fence in right field. His 2nd blast, a GRAND SLAM off Santiago Correa in the 4th inning, landed an estimated 418 feet from home plate. In the 7th inning he unloaded a two-run homerun off Tigzava Táng. Overall he finished 3 for 5, scoring three times and collecting 10 RBI. In 771 career at bats, he has hit 47 homeruns and collected 143 RBI.
 
Monday 6/10/2004: Wilderland's Imreogorn wins Player of the Week award
Iseolf Imreogorn wins his 1st Player of the Week award. Shire Conference pitchers couldn't figure out how to retire this guy all week long. Imreogorn helped his team with an average of .462 and 11 RBI in 26 at bats. The Mordor Conference's best player of the week was Misty Mountain's Salir Silverbinder, who wins the award for the 1st time in his career. Salir pounded opposing pitchers, hitting .385 with 4 HR and 9 RBI while slugging 1.000. He hit in every game this week and extended his hitting streak to 14 games.
 
Monday 6/3/2004: Numenor's *Nering wins Player of the Week award
The Player of the Week award in the Shire Conference goes to Wilderland's Isilborn Imrilron this time, as the leftfielder displayed the best offensive perfomance in his league. Isilborn was on fire, hitting .550 with 3 HR and 12 RBI. He got at least one hit each game this week and is on a 9 game hitting streak right now. The Mordor Conference Player of the Week award goes to Theo *Nering, Numenor's starting shortstop. He had an on base percentage of .450 and hit .450, while driving in 8 runs. His season numbers are: .351 AVG, 74 hits, 8 doubles, 2 triples and 12 homeruns, along with 45 RBI and 37 runs scored. He's 4th in the Mordor Conference in batting and 6th in RBI!
 
Saturday 6/1/2004: Cirith Ungol's Demonsmasher out for 6-7 weeks
CIRITH UNGOL - Cirith Ungol is without its ace Fral Demonsmasher for at least 6-7 weeks. He injured himself while throwing a pitch to Ralin Rockbinder in a game against Bree. His face showed signs of pain immediately after the ball left his hand. Doctors examined him after the game and diagnosed a Strained Tricep Muscle which will require surgery. Fral has a record of 3-9 this season, with an ERA of 4.48. In 76.1 Innings he was able to strike out 65 batters.
 
Saturday 6/1/2004: Bywater's Dryadpoker earns Pitcher of the Month award
The best month of May in the Shire Conference certainly had Bywater's southpaw Grikak Dryadpoker, earning him the Pitcher of the Month award. His record of 3-1 in 6 was among the leagues best this month. In 40 innings of work he allowed just 28 hits while striking out 45, compiling an ERA of just 1.58. Grikak also fired a shutout. His ERA of 3.50 helped him to a 7-1 record this year. He struck out 75 and walked 17 in 72 innings. He has one complete game and one shutout. He's 9th in the Shire Conference in ERA and 2nd in wins! Winner of this months Mordor Conference Pitcher of the Month award is Isengard's Phaija Eowunduil. He started 6 games in May, going 4-0 and compiling an ERA of 0.59 in 46 innings. Phaija fanned 25 hitters. Phaija got two complete game shutouts as well! Phaija has a record of 8-0 this season, with an ERA of 1.88. In 86.1 Innings he was able to strike out 63 batters. Phaija has pitched 3 shutouts and 3 complete games. He's 1st in the Mordor Conference in ERA and 1st in wins!

Tuesday 5/28/2004: Radiden Morolf blanks Cirith Ungol with a 2-hitter
BUCKLEBURY - It was a great day for Bucklebury's right-hander Radiden Morolf. The 22-year old recorded his first career shutout, a 2-hitter, against Cirith Ungol on Tuesday. Morolf (5-4) struck out 6 and walked 3, throwing 54 of 89 pitches for strikes. 'Wow, what a nice day. I guess I had a good breakfast today.' The hitting star for Bucklebury was Bucklebury improved its record to 27-24, scoring 3 runs on 5 hits.
 
Monday 5/27/2004: Elvywyn (BUC) and Elvand (NUM) win P.O.W. award

His season features a batting average of .319 (59 hits in 185 AB), 5 doubles, 2 triples and 11 bombs. Elvand collected 28 RBI and 33 runs as well.
 
Friday 5/24/2004: Dejahth Anylith pitches his 1st shutout of the season
MORIA - Bree's right-hander Dejahth Anylith will never forget this day. The 30-year old recorded his first career shutout, a 1-hitter, against Moria on Friday. 'Winning is the most important thing. And I gave my team all the support it needed!' Anylith (3-0) fanned 7 and walked 8, throwing 140 pitches. The hitting star for Bree was catcher Boli Armormaker, he went 3 for 5, homering once, stroking a double, and collecting 3 RBI. Bree improved its record to 32-16, scoring 9 runs on 12 hits.
 
Tuesday 5/21/2004: Numenor's Fruron Elvand laces five hits
GONDOR - Fruron Elvand punished Gondor's pitching today, collecting five hits in 5 AB. That definitely helped Numenor, they won the game 9 to 2. Number 2 in the 3rd inning, a shot estimated at 389 feet, cleared the wall in right-center. A pitch from Phaimina Fadrielindë in the 5th inning left his bat for a two-run homerun, landing 391 feet from home plate in left-center. His 5th hit was a double off Mil Ghouldrinker in the 9th inning. He collected singles in the 1st inning and in the 7th inning . Fruron scored 3 runs, and he collected 5 RBI as well! He's having a very good season so far, batting .308.
 
Monday 5/20/2004: Nuumsh Gnomeraper pitches his 1st shutout of the season
DAGORLAD - Dagorlad's right-hander Nuumsh Gnomeraper will never forget this day. The 27-year old recorded his first career shutout, a 1-hitter, against Mordor on Monday. With two outs in the 7th inning Tavoja Legindil singled to break up the no-hitter. Gnomeraper (3-3) fanned 9 and walked none, throwing 83 pitches. 'Things like that happen. You take the mound and everything works. My velocity was pretty good today and I guess it showed.' Galugol Frilmer helped Gnomeraper at the plate, he collected 1 hit in 4 trips to the plate, hitting a homerun. Dagorlad scored 3 runs on 8 hits.

It's the 1st time that the Shire Conference Player of the Week award goes to Old Forest's leftfielder Haleogrin Grolas. Haleogrin was on fire, hitting .450 with 6 HR and 13 RBI. He got at least one hit each game this week and is on a 7 game hitting streak right now. While compiling an on base percentage of .347, Haleogrin hit .291 and slugged .649. He has collected 40 runs batted in this year. He's 2nd in the Shire Conference in RBIs and 5th in homeruns! It's the 1st time that the Mordor Conference Player of the Week award goes to Numenor's shortstop Theo *Nering. He had an on base percentage of .480 and hit .455, while driving in 11 runs.
 
Saturday 5/18/2004: Vishnak Spearpunisher blisters three bombs
LAKE TOWN - Hitting a homerun is fine, but hitting three of them in one game is something special. Lake Town's leftfielder Vishnak Spearpunisher accomplished that feat at age 37, in a 9-5 win over Bywater. A pitch from Gorodoc Golleon in the 2nd inning left his bat for a solo homerun, landing 365 feet from home plate in left field. In the 4th inning he unloaded a solo homerun off Gorodoc Golleon. That one tied it at 4 runs apiece. A 387 foot drive to right field marked his 3rd bomb, a three-run homerun off Faraimli Euthor in the 5th inning. Vishnak went 3 for 4, with three runs scored and collecting 5 RBI. His homerun total this year is 13, along with 39 RBI. Ralin Rockbinder was the last player to hit 3 homeruns in a game, doing it 4/2/2004.
 
Thursday 5/16/2004: Michael Obyrne pitches 1-hit shutout against Lake Town
LAKE TOWN - Michael Obyrne had an unexpectedly great performance against Lake Town on Thursday, pitching a 1-hitter for his 1st shutout of the season. Badur Belewyn spoiled the bid for a no-hitter when he singled with two outs in the 9th inning. 'Things like that happen. You take the mound and everything works. My velocity was pretty good today and I guess it showed.' Obyrne (3-5) was overpowering, fanning 12 while walking none, throwing 101 pitches. Lugnar Orcback provided Bucklebury with the offense Obyrne needed as he finished with 2 hits in 4 AB, and driving in 2 runs. Bucklebury scored 3 runs on 11 hits.
 
Tuesday 5/14/2004: Remli Rockmover clubs five hits in a game
CIRITH UNGOL - Remli Rockmover is among the best pure hitters in the game, but his 5 hit performance seemed to surprise even himself. In the 3rd inning he unloaded a three-run triple off Pimthor Galebririth. A pitch from Pimthor Galebririth in the 4th inning left his bat for a two-run homerun, landing 431 feet from home plate in center field. He collected singles in the 2nd , in the 6th and in the 9th inning (one RBI). Remli did drive in 6 while scoring 5 runs on his own. He is hitting .299 this season, with 8 HR and 27 RBI. Wilderland improved its record to 24-15, scoring 23 runs on 22 hits.
 
Monday 5/13/2004: Facedragger (BUC) and Noseprodder (NUM) win P.O.W. award
It's the 2nd time that the Shire Conference Player of the Week award goes to Bucklebury's rightfielder Kogar Facedragger. He had an on base percentage of .593 and hit .522, while driving in 7 runs. Kogar managed to drive in at least one run in every game he played this week. He now has homered in 6 consecutive games as well! It's the 1st time that the Mordor Conference Player of the Week award goes to Numenor's pitcher Tigor Noseprodder. Tigor went 2-0 with an ERA of 1.72, while fanning 10 in 15.2 innings of work. A complete game added to his brilliant performance.
 
Monday 5/6/2004: Bywater's Dryadpoker wins Player of the Week award
The Shire Conference Player of the Week award goes to Grikak Dryadpoker, one of Bywater's best starting pitchers. He was in a zone all week, compiling an ERA of 1.13 while going 2-0. He hurled a shutout as well. Misty Mountain's shortstop Kyrion *Myrthar had some reason to celebrate as well, as the league named him the Mordor Conference Player of the Week. Kyrion was on fire, hitting .600 with 2 HR and 7 RBI. His season features a batting average of .363 (41 hits in 113 AB), 5 doubles, 2 triples and 8 taters. *Myrthar collected 19 RBI and 19 runs as well. He's 7th in the Mordor Conference in batting!
 
Wednesday 5/1/2004: Pitcher of the Month award winners announced
Bywater's Gorodoc Golleon had a terrific April, and it earned him the Shire Conference Pitcher of the month award. He struck out 19 hitters in his 4 starts, putting together a record of 3-0 while pitching 19 innings. His ERA in April was 1.48. Dunharrow's Vrsuurbag Swordtorturer had a terrific April, and it earned him the Mordor Conference Pitcher of the month award. His record of 5-0 in 6 was among the leagues best this month. In 48.2 innings of work he allowed just 31 hits while striking out 40, compiling an ERA of just 1.29. Vrsuurbag pitched a shutout as well.
 
Wednesday 5/1/2004: Red hot Goragol and Eowöldor win Batter of the Month award
It's the 1st time that the Shire Conference Batter of the Month award goes to Carrock's catcher Greogrin Goragol. He hit .429 with 29 RBI and slugged .857 in 91 at bats. Gandaudur Eowöldor of Isengard wins his 1st Batter of the Month award for putting up the best numbers in the Mordor Conference. He hit .424 with 27 RBI and slugged .859 in 92 at bats.
 
Monday 4/29/2004: Goragol (CAR) and Gàlas (MM) win P.O.W. award
The Player of the Week award in the Shire Conference goes to Carrock's Greogrin Goragol this time, as the catcher displayed the best offensive perfomance in his league. Greogrin went 9 for 19 (.474), while hitting 3 HR and collecting 7 RBI. While compiling an on base percentage of .490, Greogrin hit .425 and slugged .862. He has collected 28 runs batted in this year. He's 2nd in the Shire Conference in batting, 2nd in homeruns and 2nd in RBI! The Mordor Conference Player of the Week award goes to Pimra Gàlas, one of Misty Mountain's best starting pitchers. He was in a zone all week, compiling an ERA of 0.60 while going 2-0. His ERA of 1.60 helped him to a 4-1 record this year. He struck out 42 and walked 8 in 45 innings. Pimra has pitched one shutout and one complete game. He's 6th in the Mordor Conference in ERA and 2nd in wins!
 
Sunday 4/28/2004: Mugor Ghoulslobberer clubs five hits in a game
GONDOR - Mugor Ghoulslobberer led Dunharrow to a 7-4 win over Gondor by squeezing five hits out of his bat. His 1st hit was a double off Phaimina Fadrielindë in the 2nd inning. Number 3 in the 5th inning accounted for a RBI double. In the 7th inning he unloaded a solo homerun off Hosil Goldsmith. He had singles in the 3rd (one RBI) and in the 8th inning . Mugor did drive in 3 while scoring one run on his own. This season has been a good one for him so far, as he has 36 hits in 85 at bats, resulting in a .424 batting average.
 
Sunday 4/28/2004: Dagorlad's Legilmaldor severely injured
DAGORLAD - Dagorlad's first baseman Tavlla Legilmaldor will miss the rest of the season. He injured himself running the bases in the game between Dagorlad and Valinor. The injury didn't seem to be serious the moment it happened. But suddenly Legilmaldor collapsed in pain and had to be carried off the field. Torn Anterior Cruciate Ligament was the diagnosis after x-rays were taken in a nearby hospital. The message shocked teammates and team officials. While compiling an on base percentage of .380, Tavlla hit .307 and slugged .648. He has collected 15 runs batted in this year.
 
Friday 4/26/2004: Bree's Fleshscarer severely injured
BREE - Bree's left-hander Ludak Fleshscarer suffered a severe injury on Friday and will be out for at least 8 weeks. In the 5th of the game against Cirith Ungol he experienced pain in his throwing arm and had to leave the game. After being taken to a local hospital, Fleshscarer was examined by specialists. The diagnosis revealed the sad truth, a Pulled Tricep Muscle. This season Fleshscarer compiled an ERA of 3.90, going 1-2 in 5 starts. He fanned 22 while giving up 33 hits in 30 innings.
 
Wednesday 4/24/2004: Arigol Anorà ropes five hits, completes cycle
LAKE TOWN - Arigol Anorà led Lake Town to a 17-4 win over Bucklebury by squeezing five hits out of his bat. That's not the best part, though. He hit for the cycle as well! In the 1st inning he belted a RBI double off Huli Goldtooth. That one tied it at 2 runs apiece. Number 2 in the 2nd inning, a shot estimated at 345 feet, cleared the wall in right field. Hit number 3 followed in the 6th inning, a RBI triple. A single in the 7th off Imrohil Haleogast accounted for his 4th hit. That drive completed the cycle, causing a smile on his face! A single in the 8th off Gollalf Gandeolob accounted for his 5th hit. Arigol did drive in 9 while scoring 2 runs on his own. This season has been a good one for him so far, as he has 29 hits in 84 at bats, resulting in a .345 batting average. He becomes the 4th player in league history collect at least a single, double, triple and a homerun in a single game. On 7/6/2003, Mororon Meriawyn was the last player to hit for the cycle.
 
Tuesday 4/23/2004: Bree's Eowiviel out for 5 weeks
BREE - Bree is without its ace Phaiar Eowiviel for at least 5 weeks. He injured himself while throwing a pitch to Solin Stonehead in a game against Bywater. His face showed signs of pain immediately after the ball left his hand. Eowiviel was rushed to an hospital near the ballpark, where doctors took x-rays. Those revealed the serious injury, Torn Tricep Muscle. Phaiar has a record of 1-3 this season, with an ERA of 2.83. In 35 Innings he was able to strike out 29 batters.
 
Monday 4/22/2004: Belámir and Gäldor win Player of the Week award

He had an on base percentage of .619 and hit .684, while driving in 9 runs. He hit in every game this week and extended his hitting streak to 18 games. The Player of the Week award in the Mordor Conference goes to Valinor's Pimth Gäldor this time, as the leftfielder displayed the best offensive perfomance in his league. Pimth went 13 for 28 (.464), while hitting 5 HR and collecting 13 RBI.
 
Saturday 4/20/2004: Dugan Beardbinder pitches his 1st shutout of the season
BREE - Rivendell's right-hander Dugan Beardbinder will never forget this day. The 32-year old recorded his first career shutout, a 2-hitter, against Bree on Saturday. With no outs in the 6th inning Gandeohil Gaman singled to break up the no-hitter. 'Pitching a great game is always a good thing. And it doesn't get much better than today.' Beardbinder (1-1) fanned 3 and walked none, throwing 101 pitches. The hitting star for Rivendell was shortstop Grurbag Dwarfpunisher, he went 1 for 4, blasting a homerun. The final score of the game was 2-0.
 
Monday 4/15/2004: Goragol and Ironmaster win Player of the Week award
It's the 2nd time that the Shire Conference Player of the Week award goes to Carrock's catcher Greogrin Goragol. Greogrin went 13 for 22 (.591), while hitting 3 HR and collecting 6 RBI. The Mordor Conference Player of the Week award goes to Lasil Ironmaster, Dead Marshes' starting first baseman. In 24 at bats he hit .500 with 6 HR and 14 RBI. He got at least one hit each game this week and is on a 10 game hitting streak right now. Ironmaster has walked 7 times this year and posts a .444 OBP. While batting .370, 17 for 46, he has driven in 17 runs. He's 9th in the Mordor Conference in batting, 2nd in homeruns and 1st in RBI!
 
Monday 4/8/2004: Rockbinder (BRE) and Beláwen (GH) win P.O.W. award
Ralin Rockbinder wins his 2nd Player of the Week award. Shire Conference pitchers couldn't figure out how to retire this guy all week long. In 30 at bats he hit .533 with 4 HR and 11 RBI. He got at least one hit each game this week and is on a 7 game hitting streak right now. Arweowyn Beláwen wins his 2nd Player of the Week award. Mordor Conference pitchers couldn't figure out how to retire this guy all week long. He hit .435 with 10 RBI and slugged 1.000 in 23 at bats.
 
Thursday 4/4/2004: Dead Marshes' Greoman out for 7 weeks
DEAD MARSHES - Dead Marshes' centerfielder Halauman Greoman hurt himself in the 1st inning while diving for a batted ball. He got up slowly and had to leave the game. Halauman Greoman will miss at least 7 weeks. After x-rays were taken the diagnosis did not surprise many: Torn Rib Cage Muscle. Surgery will be performed next week.
 
Tuesday 4/2/2004: Ralin Rockbinder homers three times against Bucklebury
BUCKLEBURY - Ralin Rockbinder beat Bucklebury, but he did it without mercy, playing like a one man wrecking crew. Bree's centerfielder slugged three homeruns, once again proving that he is among the elite sluggers. His 1st shot, off Gamialbo Eowériand in the 6th inning, was a three-run homerun and cleared the fence in right field. In the 8th inning he unloaded a solo homerun off Imrohil Haleogast. A 383 foot drive to right-center marked his 3rd bomb, a two-run homerun off Borulf Celorfilad in the 9th inning. Ralin finished with 3 hits in 5 AB, scoring three runs with 6 RBI. So far this season he is batting .556 with 3 homers and 6 RBI. Bree scored 15 runs on 18 hits.
