Dead Marshes fans celebrated as word of a signing became reality. Gealf Faramir won't be pulling up stakes anytime soon, as he has signed a 2-year extension at a pay rate of $5,820,000 per annum.
Since he is widely seen as an integral part of the club, Dead Marshes officials had to keep Faramir from jumping ship.
His 2017 stats sheet shows Faramir has managed to hold opponents to a .353 average in 11 relief appearances, while putting up 0-1 record with 7 strikeouts and 4 walks in 12.1 innings. He has a 6.57 ERA with 3 saves. |

Grumpus *the Grumpest of the Lothlorien Lumberjacks had a super week and today was voted the Player of the Week by the Mordor Conference.
The 32-year-old center fielder put up a .406 average with a .424 on-base percentage, racking up 13 hits in 32 at-bats, 5 home runs, 7 RBIs and 9 runs scored.
On the season, *the Grumpest is batting .287 with 8 home runs and 11 RBIs. He has played in 21 games. |
