 | Saturday, April 22nd, 2017: Shieldmover Sidelined for 2-3 Weeks The Weathertop Witch Kings were dealt a serious blow when the team learned that Rosil Shieldmover was likely to be out for 2-3 weeks after he injured himself running the bases in today's game against the Grey Havens Stars. A round of tests by the team doctors revealed the injury to be a strained posterior cruciate ligament. Upon learning of their diagnosis, the Weathertop manager told the press, "As you all know, we can't control injuries--they are a part of the game. We just have to do the best we can until Rosil is back in action." This year Shieldmover has hit 2 home runs and posted a .276 batting average. |
