 | Wednesday, August 10th, 2016: Carrock Blanked by Uruk-hai In an outstanding outing, Todo Sandybanks tamed Carrock on a 4-hit shutout. The Dead Marshes hurler went the distance, finishing with 6 strikeouts and 2 walks in the 9-0 win. "He had a lot of first pitch strikes and kept us off balance with a lot of off-speed stuff," according to the Carrock manager. "We just didn't get too many balls squared up today." Up to now Sandybanks has compiled an ERA of 2.06 with a 12-6 mark over 26 starts. He has 159 strikeouts in 196.1 innings and has held opponents to a .200 batting average. |
