The Marauders still dropped the game to the Raiders by the score of 13-9. He did all he could, rapping out 5 hits in 5 at-bats, but in the end, Isengard prevailed in the ballgame at Woodland Field. "I felt real good today, but my best just wasn't enough. We didn't play well enough to win. I saw the ball well and just wanted to make good contact and put the ball in play. The balls just fell in for base hits. Some days they do that," Gamwich explained in the postgame press interview. D. Gamwich hit a two-run home run off I. Baggins in the 2nd, hit a solo-shot off I. Baggins in the 4th, hit a two-run single in the 5th, singled in the 7th and doubled in the 9th. For the year Gamwich is batting .238 with 91 hits and 10 home runs.
