 | Tuesday, September 13th, 2016: Norà Belts Bunch of Base Hits It's not something you read in the sports pages everyday -- a 5-for-6 day. It may only come around once in a career -- a lot of players never have one -- but Thurlla Norà got one today. He scattered hits all over Royals Stadium to pace Rivendell to a 9-8 victory over Bywater. The Bywater skipper told reporters in the press room, "Tip your hat to him. He hit some good pitches. According to the scouting report, Norà hit several that he is not supposed to hit." T. Norà singled in the 2nd, singled in the 3rd, flied out in the 5th, singled in the 7th, singled in the 9th, walked in the 12th and hit a solo-shot off K. Ayo in the 14th. In the 2016 season Norà has hit .219 with 7 home runs, 22 RBIs and scored 30 runs. |
