 | Saturday, October 1st, 2016: *Dogsbody Tops SC with .336 Average Biggles *Dogsbody of the Bree Cheese capped a fine season by winning the Shire Conference batting crown. He outpaced all others with his .336 average. For the season, the Cheese first baseman played in 156 games, collected 204 hits, 21 home runs, scored 109 times and knocked in 114 runs. *Dogsbody regarded himself as "lucky" to avoid any lengthy slumps. "The hits kept coming," he said, "all year long." |
