 | Orcsmith Rips Bywater for 5 Hits Wednesday, August 7th, 2019: Today the Bounders downed the Witch Kings 12-11, but Roignar Orcsmith did his best to avoid that outcome as he lashed hits all over The Water Park in a 5-hit explosion, finishing with 5 hits in 7 at-bats. "I don't remember a better day batting, but it sure is disappointing to lose the game," the Weathertop center fielder said to BNN reporters in the postgame interview. "A win would have made the day much sweeter." Asked if he had a hitting philosophy, Orcsmith said, "It makes it easier if you get a good pitch. The odds are in your favor then, not the pitcher's. I got a bunch of good pitches to hit today, and I didn't miss any of them." R. Orcsmith singled in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, struck out in the 5th, hit a two-run double in the 7th, singled in the 9th, singled in the 10th and struck out in the 13th. To date this season Orcsmith is hitting .338 with 3 home runs. |
