 | Peatfingers Gets #500 Friday, August 23rd, 2019: The Dol Guldur Dragons defeated the Minas Tirith Titans 7-1 yesterday in a game that featured Samwise Peatfingers's 500th career home run. In the clubhouse, the Dragons first baseman spoke about the milestone achievement. "To be honest, I don't even remember my first home run," he said. "But this one I don't think I'll forget. Who knows if I'll hit another hundred, or fifty, or even ten?" On his historic day, Peatfingers banged out 2 hits in 4 at-bats and scored 2 runs with 2 RBI. In his career Peatfingers has gotten 2144 hits with a .282 batting average, scored 1213 runs, hit 500 home runs and driven in 1511. |
