 | 5-6 Day for *Rider Monday, September 30th, 2019: It was a sensational day at the plate for Trik *Rider as he led the charge to a 17-11 win over the Cheese. The Carrock second baseman was pure misery for the Bree pitching staff. He left them shellshocked with 5 hits in 6 at-bats in an explosive display of hitting. The manager for the Cheese told BNN reporters after the game, "*Rider put the ball into play. He really hit it hard. When you do that, you've got a pretty good chance to do some damage. And that's what happened. I feel like we threw some pretty good pitches, but he just put some good swings on the ball." T. *Rider singled in the 1st, grounded out in the 2nd, singled in the 3rd, hit an RBI triple in the 4th, singled in the 6th and doubled in the 8th. For the season, *Rider is hitting at a .355 clip with 11 home runs, 88 RBIs and has scored 95 runs. He has 217 hits, 73 walks and a .418 on-base percentage. |
