 | Monday, July 1st, 2013: Bilin Brockhouse of the Highland Colts Selected for BL Pitcher of the Month Award There was little doubt around the Balin League that Bilin Brockhouse would be awarded Pitcher of the Month honors for June. Today, the BL made it official, naming the 21-year-old Highland Colts starter the latest honoree. He thoroughly dominated the hitters who stood in against him, holding them to a paltry .155 batting average while fashioning a 1.09 ERA in 6 starts. His record for the month was 5-1 in 49.1 innings of work. To date in 2013, Brockhouse sports a 5-1 mark and a 1.09 ERA. He has made 6 starting appearances, fanned 24 batters, issued 12 bases on balls, tossed 49.1 innings, and held the opposition to a .155 batting average. |
