 | Saturday, May 16th, 2015: Ringbender Goes 5-5 Against Eldalonde During a player's career, there are days that stand out, and this day was definitely special! Sinar Ringbender went 5 for 5 against the Eldalonde Eagles at Southfarthing Grounds and the Snowthorns picked up a 12-4 victory. He exclaimed, "What a day! We win and I get 5 hits! Couldn't be better!" The delighted right fielder was really enjoying the happiness of the moment in the press room. "He was patient up there today," the Southfarthing skipper told the press after the game. "I like the way he waited for his pitch and wasn't overly agressive. Ringbender has a tendency to go after some bad balls sometimes." S. Ringbender singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 6th, hit a two-run home run off L. Armordelver in the 7th and walked in the 9th. So far this season Ringbender is hitting .257 with 1 home run, 16 RBIs and 26 runs scored. He has 37 hits in 144 at-bats, 20 walks and a .352 OBP. Ringbender has played in 41 games. |
