 | Monday, May 13th, 2013: BL Player of the Week Prize Goes to Masin Pelham of the Prairie Hill Ponies Masin Pelham stepped up to the plate in a big way last week, and today he took home Bilbo League Player of the Week honors for his output in games ending Sunday. The Prairie Hill shortstop ripped opposing pitchers for 13 hits in 28 at-bats, a sizzling .464 batting average. He added some power with 4 extra-base hits, including no home runs, to produce an impressive 1.107 OPS average. To date, Pelham has accumulated 46 hits in 144 at-bats for a .319 average, and has posted an OBP of .399 for the current campaign. He has also slammed no home runs, walked 18 times, scored 26 runs, and driven in 26 runs. |
