| Breaking News |  | Monday, April 24th, 2017: Shire Conference Winner is Brickfoot
Carrock fans had a lot to cheer about this week as left fielder Durin Brickfoot brought home the Shire Conference Player of the Week trophy.
During his week-long batting binge he reeled off a .500 batting average, 14 hits and 4 home runs. Brickfoot also racked up 9 RBIs and scored 10 runs.
Brickfoot is hitting .384 this year with 6 home runs, 23 RBIs and 18 runs scored. He has 33 hits in 86 at-bats, 12 walks and a .459 on-base percentage. Brickfoot has played in 22 games.

 | Monday, April 10th, 2017: Carrock's Faromli Snaps Up Player of the Week
The 35-year-old Carrock Bears first baseman might not have the spring he had in his step years ago, but the "old man" can still play the game. Galaigast Faromli has been a reliable ballplayer, one who has worked hard to earn everything he's achieved and today he sits on top of the heap as he was named the Shire Conference Player of the Week.
He went 12-26 to racked up a .462 average with 3 home runs and 10 runs batted in this past week. Faromli also scored 5 runs.

 | Sunday, March 26th, 2017: Gamaiborn Hurt, Out of Lineup 4 Weeks
The Bears received bad news this morning. Gandaugrin Gamaiborn will miss 4 weeks due to a strained achilles tendon. In the Carrock-Old Forest game he sustained the injury while running the bases. "I'm disappointed more than anything," he told reporters later in the day. "You can't help your team on the bench," Gamaiborn sighed. "I'll do the rehab work and hope for a quick recovery."
