Dead Marshes fans celebrated as word of a signing became reality. Gealf Faramir won't be pulling up stakes anytime soon, as he has signed a 2-year extension at a pay rate of $5,820,000 per annum.
Since he is widely seen as an integral part of the club, Dead Marshes officials had to keep Faramir from jumping ship.
His 2017 stats sheet shows Faramir has managed to hold opponents to a .353 average in 11 relief appearances, while putting up 0-1 record with 7 strikeouts and 4 walks in 12.1 innings. He has a 6.57 ERA with 3 saves.

 | Friday, April 14th, 2017: Dead Marshes Loses Sarukh *the Indefatiguable
The Dead Marshes Uruk-hai will lose the services of left fielder Sarukh *the Indefatiguable after he sustained a fractured finger while colliding with a player at a base in today's game against the Dol Guldur Dragons. When asked about the injury, he took a philosophical approach. "Worse things can happen in life," *the Indefatiguable said. "The key now is to stay positive." His trainer said he is expected to be sidelined for the next one week.
Thus far this season in 13 games *the Indefatiguable is batting .245 with 2 home runs, 4 RBIs and 8 runs scored. He has 12 hits in 49 at-bats.

"My pitching coach told me before the game just to bear down and focus. He said no one was going to hit me if I'm throwing a good breaking ball with good location."
And that's what Oaknar Goblincrusher did as he led the Stallions to a 3-0 shutout victory over the Flying Dragons.
"I thought he put the ball where he wanted to," the North Mordor manager said. "And that's just about the whole secret to pitching."
Goblincrusher yielded 4 hits and had 2 strikeouts and 2 walks in a standout performance.
