Dunharrow reliever Alfred Boos has back spasms, suffered while throwing a pitch. He's expected to be out for 1-2 weeks.
This season Boos has made 10 relief appearances, pitched 10 innings and struck out 6 with a record of no wins and no losses. He has compiled a 2.70 ERA and saved 0 games.

 | Friday, April 21st, 2017: Orebearer Records Shutout Against Dol Guldur
Misil Orebearer of the Dunharrow Devils was on top of his game today. He tantalized the Dol Guldur Dragons with crisp curves and changeups, mixed in with just enough fastballs to keep the batters honest and came away with a 7-0 shutout.
In the postgame comments, the Dol Guldur skipper said, "He had the changeup working. You knew it was coming and you still grounded out -- and then he threw it even slower."
The Dunharrow hurler had 5 strikeouts, gave up 2 walks and surrendered 3 hits in his complete game effort.
Orebearer told reporters after the game, "To be successful in this league, you have to keep the ball down. If you don't, they'll make you pay."
Checking out his stats for the season, Orebearer has racked up 1 win and 2 losses in 5 starts, 2.13 ERA and struck out 19 batters in 38 innings.

| Monday, April 10th, 2017: Orebearer and Knotwise Swapped
The Erebor Eagles have finalized a deal with the Dunharrow Devils for the services of 22-year old minor league starting pitcher Voili Knotwise. In exchange, the Devils will receive 36-year old starting pitcher Misil Orebearer.
In his career Orebearer has 149 wins and 104 losses and a 3.41 ERA.
