The Mordor Conference Rookie of the Month has been picked for April and the honor went to the Numenor Kings hitting machine, Gilly Hill.
During the last month he compiled a .320 batting average with 31 hits and 4 home runs, along with 23 RBIs and 13 runs scored.

 | Sunday, April 9th, 2017: Hit Barrage by Filthsludgefad, Cracks 5 Hits
It seemed that Mittalmar left fielder Nazbog Filthsludgefad could do no wrong as the Herders kayoed the Goblins 11-3 today as he rapped out 5 hits in 6 at-bats. Entwash pitchers couldn't get him out as Filthsludgefad seemed to know which pitches they were throwing.
"I think the Herders were stealing signs." growled one unhappy Entwash fan.
"I just felt good today. I saw the ball well and just wanted to make good contact and put the ball in play." exclaimed the jubilant Filthsludgefad in the postgame press interview.
N. Filthsludgefad singled in the 1st, grounded out in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 6th, singled in the 7th and hit a three-run home run off K. Shanley in the 9th.

 | Wednesday, March 22nd, 2017: Kings Lose Nadrierion for 4 Weeks
Watching Thudor Nadrierion getting helped off the field today at Capital One Stadium, fans of the Numenor Kings feared the worst. The news wasn't quite as bad as initially feared, but the second baseman will miss 4 weeks with a fractured wrist. "We feel we've dodged a bullet. When you see a guy break down like that, you worry right away," a team spokesman said. Nadrierion suffered the injury colliding with a player at a base in the game against the Disaster.
