| Breaking News |  | Sunday, September 22nd, 2019: Deb and Thunderarrow Suspended 10 Games
The league commissioner has issued 10-game suspensions to Krom Deb of Weathertop and Moisil Thunderarrow of Ravenhill. The two players were involved in a confrontation during a recent Witch Kings-Darkwings game at The Ballpark at Helms Deep and now will miss time because of it. Neither player would comment on the suspensions.
In the 2019 season Deb has hit .327 with 2 home runs, 47 RBIs and scored 56 runs.
This year Thunderarrow has a 9-15 record with a 4.49 ERA.

 | Monday, August 19th, 2019: Elvāwen Spins Shutout Against Ravenhill
In a standout performance today at Khazad-dum Stadium, Miners pitcher Galealbo Elvāwen blanked the Ravenhill Darkwings 11-0. He limited them to 3 hits and posted 7 strikeouts and no walks to gain the win for Moria.
Checking out his stats for the year, Elvāwen has racked up 4 wins and 3 losses in 11 starts, 4.25 ERA and struck out 49 batters in 65.2 innings.

 | Tuesday, August 13th, 2019: Big Day with Bat: Gāndir 5-6
It wasn't just another day at the ballpark for Phaiar Gāndir of the Mirkwood Marauders. Gāndir went on a tear at Woodland Field and cracked hit after hit off Ravenhill pitching.
When the dust settled on the diamond, the 29-year-old center fielder had a career 5-6 day and something he will long remember. "Yeah, it'll be something nice to tell the grandkids, but I don't think I'll tell 'em we lost," he joked in the BNN postgame interview.
Gāndir got the accolades today, but the Ravenhill Darkwings walked off the field with a 13-12 win.
P. Gāndir hit a solo-shot off I. the Basher in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, hit an RBI double in the 4th, flied out in the 6th, hit an RBI double in the 7th and singled in the 9th.
In 116 games this season Gāndir has batted at a .274 pace with 133 hits and 20 home runs.
