Once you hit 35, it's hard to say how much time you've got left in baseball. Grunthos the Flatulent has been fortunate as his numbers for the past week bear out. The 37-year-old right fielder, a favorite in the Mirkwood Marauders clubhouse, hit .632 last week as he put up Player of the Week numbers.
the Flatulent also put together 12 hits in 19 at-bats, 3 home runs and 9 RBIs for the week.
A look at his 2019 stats shows the Flatulent with a .274 average, 9 home runs, 53 RBIs and 65 runs scored. He has played in 110 games.

| Thursday, September 19th, 2019: Bloodytooth Brilliant, Blanks Bounders
The Mirkwood Marauders shut out the Bywater Bounders behind the 3-hit pitching of Rundin Bloodytooth, winning by the score of 6-0 at Woodland Field.
In season stats Bloodytooth shows a 18-8 record in 31 games, 219.2 innings, 206 strikeouts and a 2.95 ERA.

 | Tuesday, September 17th, 2019: Bounders Shut out Marauders, Estrella Winner
Bywater pitcher Cristian Estrella blanked the Mirkwood Marauders 3-0, tossing a 2-hitter while issuing 1 walk and collecting 1 strikeout.
After his sharp shutout performance, he said that he gives a lot of the credit to his batterymate. "Me and him are just locked in out there. He's so great at having a feel for hitters. I couldn't do what I'm doing without him."
Estrella has no saves this season with a won-lost record of 16-9 and 3.00 ERA.
