The catcher hit .684 for the Disaster, recording 13 hits in 19 at-bats, 1 home run, 3 RBIs and 3 runs scored. Saturday, April 22nd, 2017: Disaster Closer Injured It took the Dagorlad team doctor a while to realize it, but closer Verin Bilas won't simply play through back spasms after he got hurt throwing a pitch in today's Lumberjacks-Disaster game. At first, it looked like Bilas might be back as early as tomorrow, but now the prognosis isn't quite so good; he's expected to miss at least 1-2 weeks. A spokesman for the club described the loss of Bilas as a blow, but was confident that he'd be back soon.
