The Dragons may be close to working out a deal to trade David Solomon. That's the latest news from the rumor mill. Solomon, the 34-year-old third baseman, has said privately that he will not balk at a trade to another team.

Fareand Elraralindë of the Dol Guldur Dragons could be headed for the disabled list after suffering a strained back muscle in a game against the Misty Mountain Hops. He is expected to miss at least 1-2 weeks. The Dol Guldur starting pitcher was injured throwing a pitch.
This year Elraralindë has a 18-10 mark in 35 starts with a 3.22 ERA. He has given up 204 hits in 209.1 innings, struck out 186 and issued 42 walks. Opposing clubs have compiled a .258 batting average against him.

Boris Ruano showed some power today as he launched three balls into the seats against the Dol Guldur Dragons and sparked the Stars to a 8-3 victory.
For the day he collected 4 hits in 5 at-bats, scored 3 runs and had 6 RBIs.
In the postgame press conference he told reporters, "I got some good pitches to hit and turned on them real good. I always have liked to hit here at Grey Havens Field."
"He was instant offense today," the Grey Havens skipper said. "Boris really put on a show."
B. Ruano hit an RBI double in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off D. Belebrildur in the 3rd, grounded out in the 5th, hit a solo-shot off N. Tendertush in the 7th and hit a three-run home run off R. Husband in the 8th.
Ruano has a .283 average and a .341 on-base percentage for the year. He has picked up 163 hits, 37 home runs and driven in 110 runs.
