Sunday, August 12th, 2018: Throatshaker Tosses Shutout
Gromghash Throatshaker of the Pleasant Vale Stallions worked his mound magic on the Lebennin Lords. He blanked them 7-0 on 5 hits, registering 8 strikeouts and 1 walk.

"Making good pitches is the name of the game and I made some good ones in this one," said Throatshaker after the game.

In 24 starts this season Throatshaker has rung up a 12-6 record and a 3.35 ERA.

Sunday, August 5th, 2018: Bailey Smacks 3 out of the Park
Glom Bailey penned his name in the record books after an explosive home run spree against Harad. He's now among the select sluggers who have hit three home runs in a game, but it didn't guarantee a victory. The Pleasant Vale Stallions fell to the Harad Wainriders 14-9.

In his record-setting day at Ballpark of Pleasant Vale the Pleasant Vale third baseman went 3-4 with 4 RBIs and scored 4 times.

"It was just one of those days," he told BNN sportswriters in the postgame interview. "I don't know how to explain it. I'm just putting a good swing on the ball."

Bailey added, "You would think three homers would win most games. It was good to hit 'em, but a win would have really made my day."

G. Bailey grounded out in the 2nd, hit a solo-shot off W. Eartharm in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off W. Eartharm in the 6th, walked in the 8th and hit a two-run home run off C. Brandybuck in the 9th.

This season Bailey has delivered 113 hits in 433 at-bats for a .261 average with 13 home runs. He is getting on base at a .337 clip and his totals also include 55 RBIs and 49 runs scored. This year Bailey has played in 115 games.

Saturday, July 21st, 2018: Super Swinger -- Tinàlindë Slams 5 Hits
"It was like I was hitting little league pitching," said Gamodoc Tinàlindë after his 5-hit performance against the Stallions. "No offense meant to Pleasant Vale, but it was like I was back in little league again. I could see the ball that well. But this wasn't a kid league park, it was Ages Ballpark."

The Long Cleve right fielder had a fantastic day at the plate, knocking out 5 hits in 8 at-bats and pacing his club to a 3-2 victory.

His manager elaborated after the game to the press, saying, "Gamodoc worked the entire offseason on trying to shorten his swing and stay inside the ball and the hard work is paying off in base hits."

"That's what I'm trying to do," Tinàlindë said. "Be quick to the ball and let it travel a little farther so I get a better look at it."

G. Tinàlindë singled in the 1st, doubled in the 4th, doubled in the 6th, tripled in the 8th, struck out in the 11th, grounded out in the 13th, struck out in the 15th and singled in the 17th.

A look at his 2018 stats shows Tinàlindë with a .259 average, 8 home runs, 55 RBIs and 52 runs scored. He has played in 100 games.
