Anduin hurler Celauhil Anándel was at his best as he whitewashed the Long Cleve Ages 4-0 today.
"He just kept the ball down, did a good job, made his pitches," said the Long Cleve manager. "We didn't do a good job making adjustments, so we helped him out a little bit."
Anándel fired a 3-hitter and totaled 2 strikeouts and 1 walk in the shutout performance.
In 2017 Anándel has fashioned a 5-5 mark, 3.35 ERA and pitched 104.2 innings. Opposing clubs are batting .256 against him and he has logged 57 strikeouts.

| Thursday, June 8th, 2017: Razor-Sharp Anándel Blanks Emyn Muil
Anduin starter Celauhil Anándel really did a number on the Orcs today, shutting them out 6-0 on 5 hits in a complete game victory. He issued 2 walks and had 5 strikeouts.
In his postgame comments, the Emyn Muil manager said, "We didn't have good at-bats. I don't make excuses, but when we were playing the game, our energy didn't show. That comes from either extremely good pitching or extremely lousy hitting... seeing as our team has a bunch of pretty good hitters, I have to tip my cap to Celauhil... he did an outstanding job today."
