Jimmy Florez of the Nurn Demons worked his mound magic on the Fangorn Ents. He blanked them 5-0 on 3 hits, registering 7 strikeouts and 5 walks.
"Making good pitches is the name of the game and I made some good ones in this one," said Florez to SION scribes after the game.
In 2016 Florez has compiled a 13-15 mark with a 2.90 ERA in 33 starts. In pitching 214 innings he has 156 strikeouts and 97 walks while limiting the opposition to a .232 batting average.

 | Tuesday, July 26th, 2016: Crickhollow's Stoneslayer Stands Out in Shutout
Suran Stoneslayer of the Crickhollow Cads shut out the Nurn Demons 8-0, stopped them on 3 hits and had 6 strikeouts and 3 walks in a strong outing.
After the game his manager said, "He just came out and was on the attack from the first pitch he threw. When Suran stays ahead in the count, he does well. That's the key."
So far this season, Stoneslayer has logged a 11-3 record with a 2.68 ERA. He has started 26 games, hurled 161 innings and registered 109 strikeouts and 50 walks.

Thurzava Derrohammer shut 'em down and shut 'em out, hurling Golden Wood past Nurn 6-0 in a complete game victory.
He told SION sportswriters in the postgame interview, "This is a game of adjustments and I made some good ones in this game."
Derrohammer held the Nurn Demons without a run, tossing a 4-hitter while walking 1 and fanning 4.
This season in 25 starts Thurzava Derrohammer has a record of 6-8 with 123 strikeouts in 176 innings and a 3.32 ERA.
