"My pitching coach told me before the game just to bear down and focus. He said no one was going to hit me if I'm throwing a good breaking ball with good location."
And that's what Gakak Fistripper did as he led the Assassins to a 9-0 shutout victory over the Nobles.
"I thought he put the ball where he wanted to," the Eldalonde manager said. "And that's just about the whole secret to pitching."
Fistripper yielded 3 hits and had 10 strikeouts and 1 walk in a standout performance.
In the 2016 season Fistripper has 7 wins and 1 loss and a 2.45 ERA.

 | Monday, August 15th, 2016: Super Week for Eldalonde's Clubwalker!
Berliac Clubwalker is respected by most Eldalonde Nobles fans for his no-frills style of play. The 21-year-old left fielder went about his business with vigor last week to grab the Galadriel League Player of the Week honors.
He compiled a .524 average (11-21) with 1 home run, 10 RBIs and 4 runs scored.
This year Clubwalker is batting .353 with 152 hits and 6 home runs. He has scored 55 times and has batted in 63 runs.

| Friday, August 12th, 2016: Clubwalker Slaps 5 Hits
Berliac Clubwalker really sizzled at the plate in today's 10-8 win over Captains. The Eldalonde left fielder blistered Osgiliath for 5 hits in 6 at-bats.
"Clubwalker was too tough to get out today," the Captains skipper said in the postgame interview. "No matter what we threw him, he hit it. And he hit some good pitches, too."
B. Clubwalker hit a two-run home run off O. Proudfoot in the 1st, hit an RBI double in the 2nd, singled in the 5th, grounded out in the 7th, hit an RBI single in the 9th and singled in the 11th.
Currently Clubwalker is batting .349 with 6 home runs and 63 RBIs.
