The Mirkwood Marauders shut out the Bywater Bounders behind the 3-hit pitching of Rundin Bloodytooth, winning by the score of 6-0 at Woodland Field.
In season stats Bloodytooth shows a 18-8 record in 31 games, 219.2 innings, 206 strikeouts and a 2.95 ERA.

 | Thursday, September 19th, 2019: Year Over for Bounders Roth
Bywater second baseman Beleg Roth could miss the remainder of the season because of a fractured nose. He exited yesterday's Mirkwood game after injuring himself while colliding with a player at a base. The original diagnosis said Roth would be out 2 weeks. Later on his doctors said he could be out even longer.
"He's done," his manager commented at the BNN press conference. "It's a season-ending injury, but it could have been worse. It's not the worst-case scenario, so we're happy about that."
In his 2019 season totals, Roth has 23 home runs, .291 BA, .384 OBP, 75 RBIs and 92 runs scored.

 | Tuesday, September 17th, 2019: Bounders Shut out Marauders, Estrella Winner
Bywater pitcher Cristian Estrella blanked the Mirkwood Marauders 3-0, tossing a 2-hitter while issuing 1 walk and collecting 1 strikeout.
After his sharp shutout performance, he said that he gives a lot of the credit to his batterymate. "Me and him are just locked in out there. He's so great at having a feel for hitters. I couldn't do what I'm doing without him."
Estrella has no saves this season with a won-lost record of 16-9 and 3.00 ERA.
