Friday, August 30th, 2019: *the Indefatiguable Touches All the Bases, Hits for Cycle
Hitting for the cycle is defined as hitting a single, double, triple and home run in the same game. How often does that happen? Not very often, especially considering that a cycle is a microcosm of what makes a complete hitter -- he must possess power (homer), speed (triple) and make regular contact (four hits).

Well, Sarukh *the Indefatiguable is a complete hitter -- at least for one ballgame. Today at Uruk-hai Field he hit for the cycle to lead Dead Marshes Uruk-hai to a 11-5 win over the Lake Town Archers. All told in the game *the Indefatiguable delivered 4 hits in 5 at-bats with 1 run batted in and 3 runs scored.

He admitted to the press in the postgame interview, "Lotta luck in hitting for the cycle. Several unique things have to come together... all in the same game."

S. *the Indefatiguable tripled in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off E. Mayes in the 3rd, grounded out in the 4th, doubled in the 6th and singled in the 8th.

*the Indefatiguable is presently hitting at a .337 pace with 32 home runs and 87 RBIs. He has played in 128 games and scored 100 times.

Tuesday, August 27th, 2019: Belurion Shines in Gem
How good was Isiclya Belurion today? Just ask the Lake Town Archers, who were blanked 5-0. The Archers could muster just 5 hits against the 31-year-old Dunharrow hurler. In a fine showing Belurion had 8 strikeouts and walked 2.

To date this year, Belurion shows a 16-6 record, 28 starts, 200 innings, 162 strikeouts and a 2.29 ERA.

Tuesday, August 27th, 2019: the Nasty and Oathbreaker Fight, Get Suspended
Firbal the Nasty of the Dunharrow Devils was not happy with Elanor Oathbreaker and his frustration showed when he went after the Lake Town player during yesterday's game at Lake Town Park. Both benches cleared as they rushed to the aid of their teammates. Order was soon restored as the Nasty and Oathbreaker were pulled away from each other. They were ejected from the game.

Both players were suspended 5 games by the league office as a result of their tussle.

"It's something that happens in baseball every once in a while," the Nasty commented later. "We get frustrated with another player and sometimes things go too far. We'll both take our suspensions and then come back ready to play. I got no hard feelings."

In 129 games the Nasty is hitting .278 this season for the Devils with 142 hits, 20 home runs, 81 RBIs, 64 walks, .361 OBP and has scored 77 runs.

Her 2019 stats sheet shows Oathbreaker has managed to hold opponents to a .298 average in 38 relief appearances, while putting up 3-3 record with 42 strikeouts and 68 walks in 70.2 innings. She has a 7.64 ERA with 1 save.
