Koisur Goldcutter of the Anduin Angels was on fire against Long Cleve. He shut them down 6-0 on 5 hits and no runs with 3 strikeouts and 3 walks.
"The first two pitches I'm looking for an out, a ground ball or a fly ball," Goldcutter said. "I'm trying to get quick outs. I've never been a big believer in trying to strike a guy out from the very first pitch. It's too easy to end up behind in the count doing that."

Kolak Bugsmasher was dynamite today and just blew Mount Doom away in the 9-0 victory. The Lhun Attics starter had everything working as he hurled a 5-hit shutout over the Merrymen, recording 10 strikeouts and 1 walk.
"He was pure nasty out there today. I don't think any team in the would've had a chance against what he was bringing," said the Mount Doom skipper during his postgame press conference.

| Tuesday, April 4th, 2017: Super Swinger! Cloudeye Slams 5 Hits!
It was a hits blitz for Erika Cloudeye at Attics Ballpark. The Lhun Attics center fielder tore into Barrow Downs for 5 hits in 6 at-bats to pace Attics to a 16-3 victory and wrote his name into the baseball record book.
The manager for the Wights bemoaned his pitching, saying, "We fell behind and weren't locating well. Once you get behind in the count, you have to make real good pitches, rather than good pitches, and we weren't able to do that today." He added, "Not to take anything away from Cloudeye, but bad location was the story of the ballgame. That's why we lost the game."
E. Cloudeye hit an RBI single in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off S. Welton in the 3rd, hit an RBI double in the 4th, grounded out in the 6th, singled in the 8th and hit a two-run home run off T. Trollcutter in the 9th.
