He didn't put a spell on them. It wasn't black magic, it was just old-fashioned good pitching. That's how Ligor Moonripper of the Khand Killers blanked the Eregion Eagles 1-0.
After tossing a complete game 1-hit shutout, he was all smiles, saying, "I threw a lot of my pitches for strikes in this game. I mixed it up and tried keeping these guys off balance."
His own skipper said, "He's at his best when he gets ahead of the hitters." Moonripper walked 0 and struck out 13 in the victory.
The Eagles manager commented on their lack of success against him, saying, "He was throwing his breaking ball for strikes and we never capitalized on any of his mistakes."
Thus far this season, Moonripper has worked 86.2 innings with 72 strikeouts en route to a 5-1 record and a 2.18 ERA.

Celillbo Elriden of the Eregion Eagles really strutted his stuff on the mound today with a 4-0 victory. He was almost untouchable, bewildering the Edoras Roughriders with a 2-hit shutout in which he struck out 7 and gave up no walks.
This year in 14 starts, Elriden has recorded 8 wins and absorbed 4 losses. He has pitched 90 innings, allowed 78 hits, struck out 54 and has a 3.00 ERA.

Gikor Elrüldor of the Aglarond Ice was really in the zone as he mowed down the Eregion hitters 4-0 in a sterling mound performance.
"I'm feeling good overall," he said.
"I'm executing my pitches, I'm able to hit my spots and I'm getting outs in key situations."
Elrüldor shut down the Eregion Eagles, blanking them on 5 hits while registering 3 strikeouts and 2 walks.
