"It was almost like batting practice. I saw the ball very well and could just about hit it anywhere I wanted." That's what Edoras catcher Bill Greenthumb said to SION reporters after his fantastic 5-5 day against the Old Ford Otters at Roughriders Ballpark. "I got some good counts and used the whole field."
The Roughriders had a good day, too, and won the ballgame 7-5.
B. Greenthumb singled in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 6th and doubled in the 8th.
This season in 82 games, Greenthumb has hit at a .269 clip with 85 hits, 2 home runs, 22 RBIs and 44 runs scored.

 | Monday, June 26th, 2017: Albano 5-6 Against Mittalmar
If the Mittalmar Herders know how best to pitch the Old Ford center fielder Eeomli Albano they didn't tip their hand today. Instead Albano showed he knew how best to hit them as he easily handled Herders pitching, going 5 for 6 and helping the Otters to a 21-10 triumph at Field of the Otters.
He told SION reporters in the postgame interview, "The way I was swinging today, I think I could have closed my eyes and hit the ball."
The Mittalmar skipper quipped, "Well, the next time we may just do that...blindfold him...and then pitch him differently, just to be sure."
E. Albano singled in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, grounded out in the 6th, hit an RBI single in the 7th, doubled in the 9th and hit a GRAND SLAM off B. Black in the 9th.
So far this season Albano has gotten 29 hits in 129 at-bats for a .225 batting average with 5 home runs. His stats include 25 RBIs and 17 runs scored. He has played in 50 games.

It was a week to remember for Prolo the Incinerator. After wrapping up a torrid week at the plate, the Old Ford Otters first baseman was named the Durin League Player of the Week.
the Incinerator collected 8 hits in 15 at-bats for a .533 average. He also accounted for 5 RBIs, 3 home runs and scored 3 runs.
So far this year the Incinerator has hit .355 with 9 home runs, 31 RBIs and scored 33 runs.
