Entwash shortstop Sranak Swordbasher really lit up the Edoras Roughriders with a 5-hit barrage today at Goblins Ballpark -- a performance that sparked the Goblins to a 8-3 triumph.
He shrugged off the performance after the game and said, "Sometimes the ball finds outfielders, today the ball found some holes."
S. Swordbasher doubled in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, doubled in the 4th, singled in the 6th and hit a solo-shot off S. Trollsmith in the 8th.
Swordbasher on the season is batting .262 with 3 home runs. His totals include 19 RBIs and 25 runs scored. He has played in 52 games.

Gloilin Orcworker was on fire today and sparked his club to a 7-2 victory over the Goblins. The Anorien right fielder was a tough out and went 5 for 5 against Entwash in a fine hitting display.
"I got my pitches and I connected. They all found the right holes on the diamond. Some days you hit shots and they're right at somebody...and some days they fall in."
G. Orcworker singled in the 2nd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 6th, singled in the 8th and singled in the 9th.
So far this year Orcworker is batting .270 with 2 home runs.

There's no doubt that Goblins starter Gandemir Merauman earned his Durin League Pitcher of the Month award. He left absolutely no room for doubt as he mowed his way through the opposition in July.
During the month Merauman was 6-0 with a 1.47 ERA. He made 6 starts, tossed 49 innings and had 40 strikeouts.
So far this season Merauman has a record of 8-2 with 62 strikeouts and 24 walks in 85 innings and a 2.33 ERA.
