Entwash shortstop Sranak Swordbasher really lit up the Edoras Roughriders with a 5-hit barrage today at Goblins Ballpark -- a performance that sparked the Goblins to a 8-3 triumph.
He shrugged off the performance after the game and said, "Sometimes the ball finds outfielders, today the ball found some holes."
S. Swordbasher doubled in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, doubled in the 4th, singled in the 6th and hit a solo-shot off S. Trollsmith in the 8th.
Swordbasher on the season is batting .262 with 3 home runs. His totals include 19 RBIs and 25 runs scored. He has played in 52 games.

 | Sunday, July 23rd, 2017: the Devastator Socks It to Roughriders, Cracks 5 Hits
It was high-5 day at Orcs Ballpark, at least for Cuugush the Devastator of the West-emnet Orcs. He got a lot of high-5's from his teammates for his outstanding hitting against the Edoras Roughriders. the Devastator smashed 5 hits in 6 at-bats on a his record-setting day, leading his club to a 12-4 win.
His manager said, "Cuugush was hitting everything. It really was a special game for him."
In the other dugout the opposing manager told SION beat writers, "He ambushed my boys today. Obviously we didn't have much success against him, but luckily, tomorrow is another day. Hopefully it will be our day to shine."
C. the Devastator singled in the 1st, flied out in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 6th, hit an RBI single in the 7th and hit a GRAND SLAM off L. Chiselhead in the 9th.
Thus far this season in 88 games the Devastator is batting .338 with 1 home run, 40 RBIs and 59 runs scored. He has 135 hits in 399 at-bats.

"It was almost like batting practice. I saw the ball very well and could just about hit it anywhere I wanted." That's what Edoras catcher Bill Greenthumb said to SION reporters after his fantastic 5-5 day against the Old Ford Otters at Roughriders Ballpark. "I got some good counts and used the whole field."
The Roughriders had a good day, too, and won the ballgame 7-5.
