| Breaking News | | Friday, May 5th, 2017: Helm's Deep Comes up Empty Against Iselinde Flortai Iselinde was stingy with runs in his latest outing against the Harriers. He shut them out 4-0 on 3 hits with 9 strikeouts and 1 walk.
The Falas manager said, "Flortai was very aggressive tonight. He threw everything he had with a lot of confidence."
The losing manager had praise, too. "He was throwing strikes with all his pitches and mixing it up well. Iselinde has a sneaky fastball, and whatever that offspeed pitch was, it was keeping our timing off."
Checking out his stats for the season, Iselinde has registered 3 wins and 2 losses in 7 starts, 3.86 ERA and struck out 31 batters in 44.1 innings. | | Sunday, April 16th, 2017: 5-Hit Barrage by Eowar Ardatai Eowar put on a hitting clinic today as the Falcons dumped the Eruption 11-5 at Falcons Ballpark. The Falas catcher sprayed hits all over the ballpark by lashing Ettenmoors pitching for 5 hits in 6 at-bats in the game.
He told SION reporters after the game, that he just hit it where they pitched it. "Too often I try to pull the ball too much. Today I just went with the pitch."
A. Eowar singled in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, grounded out in the 5th, singled in the 7th and singled in the 9th.
A look at his season totals shows Eowar with no home runs, .380 BA, .508 OBP, 3 RBIs and 8 runs scored. | | Saturday, April 1st, 2017: North Mordor Blanked by Falas Before the game Legealas Nararion liked his chances and his instincts proved to be right. In a superb outing the Falcons pitcher whitewashed the North Mordor Flying Dragons 2-0.
Nararion said in the clubhouse afterward, "I just had a feeling it was going to be my day. My control was awesome. I could throw my curveball even when I was behind in the count."
The Falas starter held North Mordor scoreless, giving up 6 hits while registering 1 strikeout and issuing no walks.
"We didn't have very many good at-bats," the Flying Dragons manager said in his postgame interview.
"When that happens, you usually lose."
