Flortai Iselinde was stingy with runs in his latest outing against the Harriers. He shut them out 4-0 on 3 hits with 9 strikeouts and 1 walk.
The Falas manager said, "Flortai was very aggressive tonight. He threw everything he had with a lot of confidence."
The losing manager had praise, too. "He was throwing strikes with all his pitches and mixing it up well. Iselinde has a sneaky fastball, and whatever that offspeed pitch was, it was keeping our timing off."
Checking out his stats for the season, Iselinde has registered 3 wins and 2 losses in 7 starts, 3.86 ERA and struck out 31 batters in 44.1 innings. |

Bogey Morena of the Helm's Deep Harriers stood out at the plate during July. The 19-year-old left fielder manhandled Bilbo League pitchers by batting .384 and was selected the Batter of the Month.
Morena collected 38 hits with 3 home runs, 20 RBIs and scored 23 times.
This season Morena is batting .305 with 5 home runs. His totals include 45 RBIs and 67 runs scored.

 | Saturday, May 14th, 2016: Ringeling 5-5 Against Tigers
"Ever since I picked up my first bat my coaches were always saying to keep your eye on the ball, don't overswing... just make contact and ya never know what'll happen," Helm's Deep's Sosa Ringeling told reporters after the game. "That's all I did today. I made contact and it turned out well."
It definitely turn out well for Ringeling today as he collected 5 hits in 5 at-bats against Minas Tirith. It turned out well for his team, too, as the Harriers knocked off the Tigers 16-4 at Helm's Deep Grounds.
S. Ringeling hit an RBI single in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 6th and hit a solo-shot off F. Proudneck in the 8th.
This year Ringeling is hitting .313 with 31 hits, 3 home runs, 19 RBIs and has scored 12 runs.
