| Breaking News | | Tuesday, May 2nd, 2017: Faroden Holds Minas Tirith Scoreless
"That was one of my best outings," said Jesse Faroden. "I was worried a lot in the bullpen. My ball wasn't quite right. Luckily, it can be two different worlds -- the bullpen and the game. Once I stepped on the field, it all fell into place."
It was an impressive start for the Fey hurler. He blanked the Tigers 6-0 on a strong 3-hitter while ringing up 13 strikeouts and doling out 2 walks.
This year Faroden has fanned 67 in 51 innings and collected a 2-2 record with a 3.53 ERA. |
 | Monday, May 1st, 2017: Bracegirdle Snares BL Top Batter Award in April
Gorbadoc Bracegirdle was at the top of the hit parade in the Bilbo League throughout April. For the outstanding month, the talented Brithon designated hitter was chosen the Batter of the Month.
He compiled a .374 average with 40 hits, 5 home runs, 26 RBIs and 23 runs scored.

| Sunday, April 16th, 2017: Fey Hurler Imrithor Tames Longbottom
Merilmir Imrithor spun his magic in a 12-0 shutout victory, allowing 4 hits while totaling 3 walks and 6 strikeouts.
The Brithon pitcher put quite a spell on Longbottom in a strong performance.
"I had a lot of good things working in this one," Imrithor said. "I worked both sides of the plate. I was rarely behind in the count."
