April's elite pitcher was Malin Moss of Longbottom. He silenced Bilbo League hitters the entire month and claimed the Pitcher of the Month award with 6 wins and no losses in 6 starts.
Moss restricted opposing hitters to a .259 batting average. He rang up 17 strikeouts in 42.1 innings of work, surrendered 10 walks and crafted a 1.91 ERA.

Malin Moss effectively shut down the Flying Dragons today, blanking them 6-0 on 6 hits, ringing up 3 strikeouts and allowing no walks. The Belles pitcher appeared to get stronger as the game went on.
"I don't know if I was getting any stronger," Moss said after the game, "I feel like my mechanics were getting better. I was able to make some adjustments and get a little more comfortable out there."
The Flying Dragons skipper said, "We had some opportunities, but weren't able to execute. We just didn't swing the bats very well today."
This year Moss has compiled a 6-0 record with a 1.91 ERA in 6 starts.

| Saturday, April 22nd, 2017: Eäril-gambor 5-6 Against Nobles
Today the Cads downed the Nobles 20-6 as Faraind Eäril-gambor sprayed hits all over Cads Ballpark in a 5-hit explosion, finishing up with 5 hits in 6 at-bats.
The Crickhollow first baseman said to SION reporters in the postgame interview, "It makes it easier if you get a good pitch. The odds are in your favor then, not the pitcher's. I got a bunch of very pretty pitches to hit today, and I didn't miss any of them."
F. Eäril-gambor hit an RBI single in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit a two-run single in the 3rd, flied out in the 4th, singled in the 6th and singled in the 8th.
