Vrong Toecrusher of the Eldalonde Eagles culminated a sensational week of play by being named the Frodo League Player of the Week.
He rocked the opposition with a .565 batting average, 13 hits in 23 at-bats, 2 home runs, and 6 RBIs while scoring 6 times.
In the 2017 season Toecrusher is batting .337 with 83 hits and 9 home runs. He has scored 43 times and batted in 41.

 | Monday, June 19th, 2017: Southfarthing Blanks Eagles
"He was too darn good for us today," grumbled the Eldalonde manager after his club suffered a 4-0 shutout at the hands of Clarence Brownlock of the Southfarthing Snowthorns. He held the Eldalonde Eagles scoreless in a 2-hit whitewash.
Brownlock was in a zone of his own most of the game and finished with 4 strikeouts and 1 walk in a strong outing.
In a postgame quote his own skipper added, "He pitched his butt off, had good velocity, good movement and had those guys off balance. Clarence did a whale of a pitching job."

 | Thursday, June 15th, 2017: Ogredragger 5-5 for Stars
It wasn't just another day at the ballpark for Noshnak Ogredragger. It was very special day, one that many players never experience. But he did. Ogredragger went on a tear and cracked hit after hit off Eldalonde pitching.
When the dust settled on the diamond at Ballpark of Mithlond, he had a career 5-5 day and something he will long remember. And the Mithlond Stars had a 13-6 victory over the Eagles.
"Yeah, it'll be something nice to tell the grandkids, but it won't get me a hit tomorrow," he laughed in the SION postgame interview.
N. Ogredragger hit an RBI single in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 6th and hit a two-run double in the 7th.
