The top hitter in the Shire Conference in 2019 was 26-year-old Biggles *Dogsbody, the standout Bree first baseman. He copped the league batting crown with a .362 batting average. *Dogsbody also piled up 24 home runs and 108 RBIs and scored 120 runs while playing in 160 games. |
 | Monday, September 30th, 2019: 5-6 Day for *Rider
It was a sensational day at the plate for Trik *Rider as he led the charge to a 17-11 win over the Cheese.
The Carrock second baseman was pure misery for the Bree pitching staff. He left them shellshocked with 5 hits in 6 at-bats in an explosive display of hitting.
The manager for the Cheese told BNN reporters after the game, "*Rider put the ball into play. He really hit it hard. When you do that, you've got a pretty good chance to do some damage. And that's what happened. I feel like we threw some pretty good pitches, but he just put some good swings on the ball."
T. *Rider singled in the 1st, grounded out in the 2nd, singled in the 3rd, hit an RBI triple in the 4th, singled in the 6th and doubled in the 8th.
For the season, *Rider is hitting at a .355 clip with 11 home runs, 88 RBIs and has scored 95 runs. He has 217 hits, 73 walks and a .418 on-base percentage. |
 | Friday, September 20th, 2019: Tindomieon Blanks Carrock
Lanus Tindomieon was in command in his outing against the Carrock Bears. He hurled the Bree Cheese to a 5-0 shutout victory, yielded 4 hits and chalked up 4 strikeouts and 5 walks.
"A complete-game shutout. That's fun territory for me," he told reporters in the postgame interview. "I had good balance and mechanics and was able to keep the ball down. When I do that, good things happen."
In 14 starts this year Tindomieon has crafted a 7-4 record and a 3.81 ERA.
