Frodo Whitfoot of the Southfarthing Snowthorns was certainly the King of the Hill today in the . He really did a number on the White Mountain Raiders -- and that number was zero -- the number of hits he gave up in his 5-1 shutout at Southfarthing Grounds.
"I can't believe I got a no-hitter!" said an exuberant Whitfoot after the game. "That is the last thing you think about when you go out to the mound. You just want to win the game. The toughest part was the last couple of innings. Everybody in the ballpark knows you have a no-hitter, including me. That was the hard part, keeping your focus and concentration while your heart is pounding."
Whitfoot recorded 6 strikeouts and 3 walks in his sensational performance.

"Ever since I picked up my first bat my coaches were always saying to keep your eye on the ball, don't overswing... just make contact and ya never know what'll happen," Mithlond's Item the Unchaste told reporters after the game. "That's all I did today. I made contact and it turned out well."
It definitely turn out well for the Unchaste today as he collected 5 hits in 5 at-bats against White Mountain. It turned out well for his team, too, as the Stars knocked off the Raiders 12-2 at Ballpark of Mithlond.
I. the Unchaste hit an RBI single in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, hit a two-run double in the 5th and hit a solo-shot off D. Thrilmaldur in the 7th.
So far this year the Unchaste is batting .318 with 2 home runs, 35 RBIs and 28 runs scored.

Mathilda Dryadlover of the Erebor Fire Drakes put the clamps on the opposition and held the White Mountain Raiders scoreless in a 3-hit whitewash.
"He's got some good stuff, but we should have done better than that," said the White Mountain skipper after the 2-0 loss.
Dryadlover was on target most of the game and finished with 6 strikeouts and 1 walk.
His record this year is 4-5 in 13 starts and Dryadlover has a 3.16 ERA.
